Texas Coastal Partners is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote, preserve, and enhance the natural resources of the Texas coast, for their intrinsic value and benefit to humankind, through a public education and community-based consensus approach.
Long-term aims for Texas Coastal Partners are to:

Serve as a facilitator and assist communities, government entities, and other organizations in identifying and implementing coastal conservation initiatives;

Be a voice for natural resource preservation and conservation in balance with human needs; and

Seek to increase success in the preservation and conservation of coastal resources by supporting:

• Adequate public and private investment in and funding for the preservation and conservation of coastal natural resources, including specifically the acquisition of properties and coastal resources at risk;
• Community education and outreach programs to promote a greater “conservation and preservation ethic” along the Texas coast, and including actions to implement that ethic; and
• Improved policies that support the preservation and conservation of coastal natural resources.
